While boating in the warm sunshine is always a good time, there are certain times when it just isn't an option. 1. Watch a Movie

What better way to kill a couple of hours on a rainy day than watching a movie? Provided you have a television or other media device in your boat's cabin, cook up some popcorn, relax, and throw on either a classic movie or a new release. By the time the movie's finished, the sun may have come back out!

2. Take a Nap

An afternoon nap can be extremely refreshing, and oftentimes you'll come out of it with significantly more energy and zest for the day. Rain hitting the water and the deck of your boat can make a nice, peaceful soundtrack to fall asleep to, and when you wake up, it may be finished raining.

3. Go Fishing

If you don't mind getting a bit wet, fishing on a rainy day can actually, in some cases, be even better than doing so when it's clear. Because of the rainy weather, there will probably be fewer boats out around you, which typically means more fish. You may end up catching quite a few of them before the sun returns!
